The Quick and the Dead (Week of November 6th)

Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of The Quick and the Dead. Sorry I have been away for awhile, it’s just that my last attempt to kill Mark and Chris got a bit hairy and I ended up getting rid of a couple of people who look like Mark and Chris. Needless to say the police got involved and I had to lay low for awhile. Now that it has been a few weeks and my bacon eating zombie minions have been arrested I am pretty sure that I am now in the clear. Unfortunately I don’t have any crazy antics to speak of as I have said I was laying low and not doing much of anything these last few weeks. So without further ado let’s start the show.

This is how the Quick and the Dead works:

  • Quick off the shelves: This game will sell out fast, think the likes of Halo, Uncharted, or pretty much any Blizzard game. Better Pre-Order.
  • Late to the party: This game is good, but it won’t be until an update or small price drop that this game takes off. At least it is fashionably late.
  • Bargain Bin Bound: This is the kind of game you don’t buy unless it is less than $20 and no one is watching. Ever have the feeling that guy behind the counter is judging you? You are probably buying one of these.
  • Dead on Arrival: It’s the games they play in hell.

Halo 4

The Good: Master Chief is back. Halo 4 brings in some new weapons, environments and enemies to face. The environments look amazing, and the architecture of buildings is simply amazing. The multiplayer modes have been revamped and they bring new energy to the old favorites.

The Bad: It takes only like 8 hours to finish the story mode.

I am so depressed

The Verdict: It’s Halo, if you read our rating system you would know that it’s…
